When my wife and I had the idea to start a coffee company, importing coffee from our homeland of Ethiopia, we had no idea where to start with the branding. Luckily, Luke and I had know each other for a few years and I was aware of his design skillset. We gave him a few ideas for names we were considering, and he basically took it from there — coming up with the a number of really cool logo concepts and color palettes. He also gave us the idea to use "Kaffa" instead of "coffee" in our name as a reference to the drink originating from the Kaffa region of Ethiopia. Luke is a really creative designer and seems to treat each project with the utmost attention!
